Gender policy
In order to empower women rights and their role in the implementation of national reforms, with the support of civil society, the Salvation Service ensures the fulfillment of obligations on gender equality, in particular the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of discrimination (CEDAW), the Beijing Platform for Action, and also UN Security Council Landmark resolution 1325 "Women, Peace and Security".
Today, the implementation of the principle of gender equality is one of the priorities of the SES. After all, the implementation of such official acts as the UN Landmark resolution "Women, Peace and Security" is not only about women, but also about a transparent society and equal opportunities for everyone.
SES is currently developing its Road Map for a broader range of gender policies in all areas of its activities. In particular, measures are being taken to integrate gender issues into the curriculum of departmental educational institutions.
